Jason Marquis allowed Scott Leitner to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete
game and Dave Roberts hit a homerun and had 3 RBI at the ballpark as the
Enterprise Trekkers beat the league door-mat Dominican Republicans 4 to
1.
Enterprise drew first blood jumping out to an early lead in the first inning
scoring one runner. After two outs Jody Gerut drew a walk. Cliff Floyd was
next and he doubled scoring the run. Neither team managed to score after the
4th inning.
Marquis(9-11) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 1 run. Luke
Hudson(4-4) ended up with the loss. He gave up 4 runs and 4 hits in 6
innings.
